The Artist
Carolyn Audet was born in 1957 Cygnet, Tasmania, Australia.
A prolific artisan she has continued to create bodies of work, whilst raising
3 children with her partner, as well as running a small farm and travelling
extensively. This energetic approach has given many varied experiences from
which to pool her skills.
Carolyn Audet
Carolyn is proud of being an 8th generation Tasmanian and has a keen interest
in researching her ancestors. She cleverly reinterprets events and people
into sculptures, both whimsical and thought provoking.
Her mediums are three dimensional created from clay, junk, wire and paper. Two
dimensional in the form of etchings, watercolours or paintings.
Her energetic approach has enabled her to experience and gather many ideas and
skills. Carolyn's work is keenly collected by buyers throughout Australia, USA, Canada, Europe,
Taiwan, Japan.
