Community Art
"Identity Distinct" Cygnet Tasmania
The aim of this project was to develop local culture through art.
The project focused on the landscape and depicted man's presence within this environment.
Local schools and community groups were involved in this project.
Hobart City Council Banner Project
Carolyn worked with two community groups, consisting of disabled people from
Clarence and inmates at Risdon Prison.
Both groups produced designs for large banners, which are displayed on the Hobart
waterfront annually.

Cape Barren - Project
Cape Barren Island Residencies
Carolyn was invited to work with the school, on three different occasions to
produce community art.
- Sail Cloth Banners - to be displayed at school functions.
- Figurative Clay sculptures and masks
- Lampshades - Carolyn worked with children for NAIDOC week
making linocut, decorated paper/wire lampshades.
